(Area of Renton Interfaith Service Endeavor) The South King County cooperative housing venture for homeless men, operated by Catholic Community Services and hosted by area congregations. Lakeridge Lutheran hosts the men in March.
Compass Veterans’ Center
Also across from Renton High School, this new housing project for veterans is located on property previously occupied by the former Renton Lutheran Church.
Emergency Feeding Program
The church contributes food and cash gifts to this important area outreach.
This exciting new café for young people will open in late 2010. Located directly across the street from Renton High School, this effort is being spearheaded by St. Matthew’s Lutheran of Renton, in cooperation with local Lutheran churches. Lakeridge Lutheran is one of the sponsoring congregations.
Lutheran Community Services
Through prayer & cash gifts the people of Lakeridge Lutheran have long supported this fine community outreach in everything from foster care to immigrant services to chemical dependency–and much more.
The South King County interfaith social ministries outreach. Our latest partnership is the Center for Hope, a place of refuge and safety for families.
Salvation Army Food Bank
This local food bank provides food for South County households. The church provides monthly donations to the bank.
